The general rules that apply everywhere

If dogs are part of your day, build Boulders in as a boardwalk visit with the dog waiting at home or with a sitter, not in the car.

Cape Point reserve: pets are not permitted

The Cape of Good Hope section of Table Mountain National Park does not admit pets, and that includes dogs left in vehicles. Baboons, ostriches, zebra and the reserve's ground-nesting birds are the reason. Plan the Point as a dog-free leg and swap in a coastal walk elsewhere for the four-legged member of the family.

Where dogs are welcome around False Bay
