Set high above False Bay in Rocklands, Aqua Terra Boutique Guesthouse is an intimate five-suite retreat on the southern side of Simon’s Town. Its elevated setting pairs panoramic sea views with convenient road access to Boulders Penguin Colony, Fisherman’s Beach, Windmill Beach, Simon’s Town’s historic naval village and Cape Point.

Closer to the guesthouse, the South Peninsula rewards slower exploration. Swim at Miller’s Point Tidal Pool, visit Cape Point Ostrich Farm or stop at The Scone Shack, then explore the historic lanes and steps of Simon’s Town. North of the village, Glencairn Tidal Pool offers another peaceful False Bay swimming spot, while Scratch Patch Mineral World presents a distinctly local gemstone experience. Admiral’s Waterfall is a short walk from Barnard Street, although the waterfall is seasonal. Hikers looking for a longer outing can explore routes around Kleinplaas Dam and towards the historic blockhouse and Swartkop; please check access, weather and safety conditions before departure.

Driving from central Simon’s Town, follow the M4/Main Road south in the direction of Cape Point. Continue past the golf course towards Rocklands Fynbos Estate, then turn into Rocklands Close. Mobile signal becomes limited after the golf course, so please download your route or contact us before reaching that point. At the estate gate, press 15 and a host will let you in.

A private car or pre-arranged transfer is the most convenient way to explore the South Peninsula. Secure on-site parking is available for guests.
