For a daytime stop at Noordhoek Farm Village, choose a café, restaurant or deli and check its own hours. If you want the food stalls, plan around Wednesday evening. The Farm Village advertises its market from 16:00 to 20:00 on Wednesdays, weather permitting. Those are two different ways to fit the village into a Cape Peninsula day.

Make lunch the flexible stop

The Farm Village food directory lists Café Roux, The Foodbarn Café & Tapas, The Foodbarn Deli and other places to eat. Pick one that fits the time you have. Café Roux is listed next to the village playground with a children's menu. If the group wants a longer sit-down meal, check restaurant service and book a table where needed. If you need to keep moving, look at the deli's takeaway options.

Check the current service for your day, especially when the plan involves a late arrival. The café, deli and evening market serve different purposes even when they are in the same village.

Use Wednesday evening if the stalls matter

The market page describes food stalls and shared outdoor seating. Check whether the event is going ahead if it is windy or raining. If a market meal is the plan, keep a restaurant fallback and check its hours. Confirm dietary choices with the individual food vendor or restaurant. There is no need to wait for the market if you mainly want a table and a meal.

Consider making the market your last stop on that side of the Peninsula. It is easy to lose the benefit of an evening event if you are also trying to make a fixed dinner reservation elsewhere. If you already have an evening commitment, choose lunch at the Farm Village instead.

Put the right stop on the map

The Farm Village gives its address at Village Lane and Noordhoek Main Road. The beach is a separate outing. If you are approaching by Chapman's Peak Drive, check that route before setting out and allow for another approach if it is closed. Save the Farm Village location separately so a beach or road pin does not become your lunch destination.
